I might as well call it wonder keyboard. It is so smooth on use. Some keys are hard to get used to in the beginning, but it is not a handicap. The only negative thing would be the mouse, which isn't very accurate, especially if you have a large screen, where you have to really work hard to cross the screen from one end to the other.
I re-purposed a home entertainment laptop to of all things home entertainment. The remote was adequate for Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center - but there is a dearth of content for the Windows Media products. This Logitech diNovo Mini remote keyboard allows me to do 99.9% of what I want on the TV from the couch. I used it as a business machine for 2 years. The HP DV6747NR came with a remote but operating Web video sites in Firefox, audio and video in Itunes, or HULU Desktop, was difficult with the factory remote. Only about 0.1% of the time am I forced off the couch to the keyboard. I plan to try Boxee as soon as it is released in a finished build - not alpha, beta, test, etc. This keyboard worked for me.
I had it do that for me while I was checking everything out. I then loaded the Setpoint and it worked flawless again using the Viliv's internal Bluetooth connection. I just received this keyboard today and I've already figured a few things out. After witnessing the sleep issue I tried connecting the keyboard using the internal Bluetooth of the Viliv and it worked flawless. I hope this helps for those having issues. I have a Viliv S5 portable Slate computer. So I think the problem is related to the Logitech Bluetooth dongle.
Another great use for this keyboard would be a car PC. First I read a lot of complaints about the unit not staying connected when the PC goes to sleep. I know this may be a problem for HTPC's since they usually don't have built in Bluetooth. It has no physical keyboard so I wanted something to make text input and navigation easier. I then put the PC to sleep and woke it back up and the keyboard immediately reconnected. I plan on building one next and will make sure it has built in Bluetooth. Setpoint and the Keyboard itself is not the problem, it's the included dongle that Logitech needs to work on.
Worked right out of the box, we didn't need to load any software. Battery life is good. The style is very nice.I wish the touchpad were more like a touchpad, it's not the greatest and takes a little bit of getting used to.Overall we are thrilled with it.
Replaced a full keyboard on our media center that took the whole coffee table drawer , works great and has a mouse ( kinda) built right in Awesome product.
